Acceptance of terms.

By accessing, browsing, or using ilovecalcs.com in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Site. Your continued use of the Site following any modification of these Terms constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Description of service

ILoveCALCS is a free, advertising-supported collection of online calculators covering finance, fitness and health, math, and everyday utilities. All calculations run client-side in your browser. The Site does not require an account, does not transmit your calculator inputs to our servers, and is provided as a free educational resource.

The calculators, tools, and content on ilovecalcs.com are provided for general educational and informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice. They do not constitute, and should not be relied upon as:

• Financial, investment, accounting, or tax advice. Mortgage, loan, retirement, salary, sales-tax, interest, and other financial calculators provide educated estimates based on the inputs you supply. They do not account for individual circumstances and must not be used as the sole basis for any financial, lending, investment, or tax decision. Consult a licensed financial advisor, CPA, or attorney before acting on any number you see here.
• Medical, health, or clinical advice. BMI, BMR, body-fat, calorie, ideal-weight, pregnancy, conception, due-date, and other health calculators are not diagnostic tools and are not a substitute for the judgement of a licensed physician, midwife, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional. • Engineering or surveying advice. Math, triangle, conversion, concrete, subnet, and other technical calculators are educational references and are not certified for use in regulated engineering, construction, surveying, or telecommunications work where licensed professional review is required.

Reliance on any information provided by ILoveCALCS is solely at your own risk. Always verify critical numbers against an authoritative source and consult an appropriately licensed professional before making decisions with financial, medical, legal, or safety consequences.

No warranty of accuracy

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure the formulas, factors, and reference data used by our calculators are accurate, we do not warrant that the Site is error-free, complete, current, or uninterrupted. Tax brackets, regulatory thresholds, and other reference data change over time and may not always reflect the latest rules. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Intellectual property

All content on ilovecalcs.com, including but not limited to calculator implementations, source code, text, graphics, logos, icons, the “ILoveCALCS” name, the visual design of the Site, the editorial copy on each calculator page, and the underlying database and structure, is the property of ILoveCALCS or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade-dress, and other intellectual-property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not, without our prior written consent:

• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Site or its content for commercial purposes;
• Scrape, harvest, mirror, or systematically extract data from the Site, including via automated agents, scripts, or bots;
• Frame, embed, or display the Site or its content within another website or service in a way that misrepresents the source;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any client-side calculation routine except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices on the Site.

All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by ILoveCALCS.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in any way that:

• Violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
• Disrupts, interferes with, or imposes an unreasonable load on the Site's infrastructure (including denial-of-service attacks, scraping that produces disproportionate traffic, or attempts to bypass rate limits);
• Attempts to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure, or any related systems or networks;
• Introduces malware, viruses, worms, or any other malicious code; or
• Misrepresents your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation.

Third-party services and links

The Site uses third-party services including, without limitation, Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and may link to third-party websites for reference. We do not control these third-party services or sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ILoveCALCS, its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, financial loss, business interruption, personal injury, or any other damages arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Site;
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in any calculation, formula, factor, or piece of editorial content displayed on the Site;
• Any reliance you place on results produced by any calculator on the Site;
• Any decision, whether financial, medical, legal, or otherwise, that you make based on output from the Site;
• Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
• Any interruption, downtime, or cessation of transmission to or from the Site; and
• Any content or conduct of any third party on or through the Site, including any third-party advertisements or links.

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if ILoveCALCS has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ILoveCALCS, its operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Modifications to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or via a banner for a reasonable period after they take effect. Your continued use of the Site after any change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without prior notice. The provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, the disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual-property provisions) shall survive.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of ILoveCALCS's principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be reformed only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ILoveCALCS concerning your use of the Site, and supersede any prior agreements between you and ILoveCALCS on the subject.
